We usually season our venison roast, put it in a slow cooker with water and let it go all day. If you do it in an oven we would make sure to keep water in the pan and bake at 350 until it is tender or use a meat thermometer and cook to 150 to 160 degrees. Depending on the cut of meat and how big the roast is would determine how long it will take to cook.
