If you go to our FAQ page and look up question #39 in the archives you will get a detailed answer on freezing venison. However, if your fiance has kept venison frozen for almost four years it is obvious that it is not one of his favorite meats. If he eats if now, it will drop even further down on his list!
    You would be doing him a favor by letting it "accidently" fall in the trash. Then when he gets another deer, make sure it's consumed within the year and he may find that its excellent when eaten while it's still relatively fresh.
