Go ahead and refreeze it, the only thing you'll notice is that there will be some extra moisture loss. When you go to use it later I would marinade the steaks, moist cook the roasts, and add pork & beef to the burger. This will restore the moisture lost through thawing and re-freezing.
    I believe that the reason you can't re-freeze is because "they" say so. The problem I've found is that no one knows who "they" are.
