If it was me I would base it off the average price per pound for farm raised venison. That is the only way I know to justify your equipment, license, gasoline, camp, etc. when trying to value the pursuit of wild game. If you saw the "venison value" page on the website you'll notice the average price per pound of farm raised venison is 10.98lb. In my opinion this is the figure I would use to value the whole works.
If your insurance man questions this ask him to price a new gun, 40 acres, a SUV, Blaze orange hunting suit, grunt calls, scent lock clothes, etc, etc.
